Hi my name's Ben, I'm an artist based in Gloucestershire, UK and this is the story about how I wrote the story 'The Bear in the Chair'.
Last year I was mucking about with my (then)1 year old nephew when we pretended a bear was living in his sofa. He had so much fun with this game that he made his Mum and Dad go on a bear hunt every night for another 6 months.
This gave me the idea for a story about a boy who finds a bear cave in his sofa and goes on an adventure with his Dad and the bear.
So I wrote and illustrated my nephew into his own personalized story book and now with your help we can get it published.
